Platinum, rose cut diamond 0.46 ctw, scattered diamonds 0.29 ctw
Profound beauty permeates an intoxicating array of shimmering wonder. Across a carved sphere of platinum, its maker, Barbara Heinrich interprets her intended design. Inspired by the growing Viedma Glacier in Patagonia, Argentina, she creates a palatial expression to stir one's heart and mind to its icy splendor. At the core of the work, she skillfully places a grand, rose cut diamond to hold one's endless gaze. In its immediate periphery, tiny, white diamonds dance in opulent grace. A stunning fit around the finger, one cannot deny its continual effervescence and striking, artistic complexity in its wake. A sweet interpretation of the maker's glacial infatuation, its meditative character beckons an awakening to admire just as much as the imagination from which it was born.
